How can we help?

Answers to the questions we hear most about building, exporting and sharing your graphs.

Getting started

Pick a template or a blank canvas, add a node for each person, then draw connections between them. As you add people, the automatic layout arranges everything into a readable graph. You can drag nodes at any time to fine-tune the result.

No. Any public graph can be viewed without signing in. You only need a free account to create and save your own graphs.

The Free plan supports up to 30 people per graph. Basic raises this to 200, and Pro removes the limit entirely. See the pricing page for details.

Building graphs

Yes. Alongside built-in types like parent, spouse, ally and rival, you can create your own labels and choose whether a connection is directed or mutual.

Assign people to a group — such as a family, house or team — and each group gets its own colour. Large groups can be collapsed into a single node to keep the graph tidy.

Force-directed for organic networks, hierarchical for org charts and family trees, and radial to centre one key person. Switch between them at any time without losing your data.

Export & share

Open the export menu and choose PNG or SVG. PNG is great for slides and social posts, while SVG stays crisp at any size — ideal for print and design work.

For images: PNG and SVG. For data: JSON and CSV of your nodes and edges (Pro plan). You can also publish a read-only public link to any graph.

Yes. On Basic and Pro plans you can create private links that only people you share with can open, in addition to fully public pages.

Account & billing

Anytime. Upgrades apply immediately and we prorate the difference; downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period. There are no cancellation fees.

If a paid plan isn’t right for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we’ll issue a full refund, no questions asked.
